Five Productivity Lies
Fast Company’s Stephanie Vozza writes about five ‘lies’ we tell ourselves about being productive.
I agree with her list, but I’d like to add one more: “I do more when I multi-task”. Latest research at MIT has shown that nobody can multi-task efficiently — it’s just not how the human brain works. It simply feels that way because we’re working so hard just to keep track of all the balls in the air — instead of concentrating on one task at a time and getting it done.
