Every week I write a column for Marklives.com, Africa’s foremost site on marketing, for marketers and advertisers (and other interesting people). In it, I select an ad that has stood out from the rest, as ‘Ad of the Week’.

This week, as part of Nedbank’s campaign called “Things that really matter”, we have no choice but to give the nod to “Reins” — a TV ad aimed at the business-banking client. Last month Nedbank was a winner for “Bathtime”, an ad aimed at the home banking client — so Joe Public is definitely doing many things right for this client.
